Blossoming

There was a skeleton down
The road waving at me,
Telling me
To listen to my body.
I was stunned by a dust
Looking like golden powder
Surrounding her silhouette.
When I came close to this
Bunch of bones, a shock
Caught me. I realized it was the
x-ray of my mistakes.
Breath in–breath out
The past does not exist
Nor the future
Breath in–breath out
I learnt the lesson and
For the time that remains
Let me own the present
Let me wrap my words with
Pink paper, making ribbons with
The punctuation.
in Italian
Fiorire
C’era uno scheletro laggiù
sulla strada che mi salutava,
mi diceva di ascoltare il mio corpo.
Fui stupita da una polvere
che sembrava una cipria dorata
tutta intorno la sua silhouette.
Quando mi avvicinai
a questo mucchio di ossa,
mi colse uno shock. Capii che
si trattava della radiografia dei
miei errori.
Inspirare – espirare
Il passato non esiste
né il futuro
Inspirare – espirare
Ho imparato la lezione e
per il tempo che mi rimane
lasciami possedere il presente
lasciami avvolgere le mie parole
con una carta rosa, fammi fare nastri
con la punteggiatura.
